Congratulations! You’ve taken the first step toward hands-on training and career preparation in a limited-entry Career and Technical Professional on North Idaho College’s Coeur d’Alene campus.

To stay on track for acceptance, please complete the steps below as soon as possible. We’re here to support you every step of the way.

1. Activate Your NIC Accounts

Set up your student accounts and access your NIC email to stay connected from day one.

2. Take your Math and English Placement Assessments

To be considered for acceptance, you must meet the required math and English placement scores.  

Please complete the NIC Easy Math or ALEKS Math Placement Assessment and The Write Class English Placement Assessment or submit qualifying ACT or SAT scores.

3. Schedule an Appointment with the Career and Technical Education Advisor
